Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in Science (AS) degree from an accredited college. Three (3) years of experience in Human Resources or related field. Five (5) years of experience in clerical or administrative work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and/or a (SHRM-CP) certification is preferred. Munis Software knowledge preferred. Applicant must be nicotine free.

Under the administrative direction of the Human Resources Director, is reĀ¬sponsible for a wide range of specialized technical tasks relating to human resources. Performs complex administrative, record-keeping and clerical tasks, including administration and coordination of all employee benefits programs; assists internal customers in completing human resources transactions and provides answers to questions concerning employment related rules, regulations, procedures, compensation and benefits. Incumbent is expected to exercise independent judgment in decision making following the city's policies and administrative directives. Work is reviewed through observation, conferences, oral and written reports, and for results obtained.
